WINGS is an international Scout and Guide jamboree that brings together young people from across the UK and around the world for an unforgettable experience of adventure, friendship and discovery.
Our story began in 1993, building on a proud tradition of major Scout and Guide jamborees held in Windsor Great Park since the late 1950s. Over the years, generations of young people have gathered here to camp, explore, make friends and experience the unique sense of adventure that comes from being part of a jamboree. WINGS carries that legacy forward, creating a modern jamboree that brings together the best of Scouting and Guiding.
It is a place where young people can step outside their everyday lives, try something new, challenge themselves and create memories that will last a lifetime. From adventure and outdoor activities to creativity, performance, skills, challenges and entertainment, WINGS creates opportunities for everyone to discover something they enjoy, push themselves a little further and experience the excitement of doing something for the first time.

WINGS is about meeting new friends and discovering you have more in common than you thought. It is about having the confidence to try something new, working together, helping others, getting stuck in, laughing with friends and being part of something much bigger than yourself.
At the heart of WINGS is the belief that some of the most powerful learning happens when young people are given the freedom to explore, the confidence to challenge themselves and the opportunity to connect with others.

WINGS is only made possible because of the extraordinary team of volunteers who give their time, energy, skills and enthusiasm to make the jamboree happen. From planning and preparation to the teams working behind the scenes and on the ground throughout the event, every part of WINGS is powered by people who care deeply about creating an incredible experience for young people.
But volunteering at WINGS is about more than what you give, it’s also about what you get back. It is a chance to meet new people, make lifelong friendships, learn new skills, take on new challenges and be part of a team working towards something truly special. For many, it is the sense of belonging, the shared experiences, the laughter and the memories made along the way that make volunteering just as rewarding as being a participant.
