Deputy Camp Leader & Head of Infrastructure

I’m an enthusiastic person and rarely sit still.  I love a challenge and enjoy organising large events and seeing everyone enjoying themselves.   With over 20 years of Scouting experience, i am currently a Group Scout Leader (GSL) in Pang Valley District.  I’m part of one of the largest Scout Groups in Berkshire with 290 members in 10 sections.

Having taken part in WINGS before, as a sub-camp leader and as a member of the activities team, I’ll work tirelessly to make sure that everything practical is in place to make WINGS 2020 a great experience for everyone, whether that is water, power, stages, safety or on-site-communications.

My Scout Group hosted a group from Norway at WINGS 2014 and since then I’ve organised a return trip for the older Scouts and Explorers from my Group to Norway and a recent expedition to Denmark.

Away from Scouting, I’m a Dad to Emily and Daisy who are both in Scouting and hopefully will both be there at WINGS 2020!
