Hello! My name is Becky and I am a Guide Leader in Caversham, Reading.
I have recently come back to Guiding after a short break for university and life at a summer camp in America! I’m originally from Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire where I spent my childhood in Guiding, starting as a Rainbow right through to Senior Section and becoming a Young Leader for my local Brownie unit. I was lucky enough to go on an international trip representing my county and to several other camps around the UK.
In my previous life I was a Programme Director at a summer camp in Virginia. Here I was responsible for ensuring campers and counsellors from around the world had a fantastic summer experience. Now I work in fundraising for Make-A-Wish UK organising special events.
WINGS2020 will be my first WINGS experience and I am so excited to meet you all!’
