The Voyager’s Guild is setting sail beyond the WINGS site for epic off-site water adventures! We’re looking for a friendly, organised Bus Team Member to help support safe and smooth transport to and from the venue.
This is a supporting role within the WINGS 2026 Programme team. You’ll assist with the coordination of participants and leaders using the bus service, helping ensure everyone knows where they need to be and gets there safely and calmly.
If you’re approachable, reliable, and happy helping things run smoothly behind the scenes (even when plans need a quick tweak), this could be a great fit.
What you’ll help with:
- Supporting the main transport lead by communicating with bus drivers on timings and arrivals
- Assisting Sub-camp Leaders with confirming participant and leader numbers
- Working alongside the WINGS Safekeeping Team as needed
- Helping guide participants and leaders onto the correct buses
- Assisting with sign-out and roll checks for off-site activities
- Reporting any delays, issues, or changes to the transport lead
You won’t be responsible for decision-making or problem-solving alone – you’ll be part of a wider team and always supported.
If you’re not already a member of a recognised WAGGGS (Guides) or WOSM (Scouts) organisation, we’ll arrange membership as part of your volunteering with us (you’ll need to be a member to be on-site during the event).
