Mini WINGS – BIG Adventures

Mini WINGS is our specially designed mini-jamboree, created just for Rainbows, Squirrels, Beavers, Brownies and Cubs (ages 4–10). It’s a chance for our youngest members to experience the celebration, adventures and excitement of WINGS. Our dedicated Mini WINGS team has created a safe, inclusive and energetic programme that captures the magic of a jamboree, scaled perfectly for younger adventurers.

What’s in store for attendees of Mini WINGS

A Mini WINGS opening ceremony and goodbye: A real sense of occasion to kick things off and bring everyone together at the end.
Talent show: Singing, dancing, jokes, magic tricks or something totally unexpected, a brilliant chance for young people to shine and cheer each other on.
Adventurous activities: Bouldering, nature-trails, scavenger hunts, splashy water play, and backwoods-style activities, all delivered in a safe, supportive environment.
Skills and creativity sessions: Hands-on crafts, drumming, and creative activities that let imaginations run wild and skills grow.
Games zones: Inflatables, team games, and high-energy play designed to burn off excitement and build friendships.

WINGS 2026’s theme is Windsor Knights and the Mini WINGS attendees will also get the opportunity to join in the fun of the theme. Mini WINGS is all about first adventures, big smiles, and unforgettable memories. It’s the perfect introduction to the magic of WINGS!

Attendance details

Mini WINGS costs £25 per young person and £5 per adult / leader / volunteer. The event will be held at Windsor Great Park on the Monday 27 July and Tuesday 28 July 2026 (additional days will be made available subject to demand).

The day will start at 09:00 with a mini opening ceremony, moving onto activities until 12:30 for lunch and then activities throughout the afternoon until 16:00 where there will be a goodbye before finishing for the day.

Attendees will need to bring their own packed lunch and snacks for the day. Travel arrangements will also be the responsibility of the Units and their leaders, parking is available on site for vehicles and coaches.

To book and secure your group’s attendance at a specific Mini WINGS day, you will need to register below and make payment for attendance within 21 days of being issued your invoice. Mini WINGS has a limited number of spaces. A £30 deposit invoice will be raised upon booking.
