Hi, I am Nige and I have been involved in Scouting pretty much continuously since I was about 7, which was a long time ago now, nearly 50 years in fact! I am currently Assistant Group Scout Leader for a Group in Berkshire, having previously been with Groups in Surrey and before that in Somerset. I recently attended the World Scout Jamboree in the US as part of the UK Contingent Support team, prior to that I had been as a unit leader in Japan.
I have been involved at WINGS since the very first one in 1993 and was a Sub Camp leader in 2014, a challenging role but one which I really did enjoy. I hope the participants did too!
Outside of work I am COO of a large multinational environmental, engineering and technical support services company. When I am not working or Scouting I do enjoy watching rugby, walking, going out with friends. Sitting still is not something I do well!
