The Scalers & Miners Guild provides vital behind‑the‑scenes support to help a wide range of activities run smoothly across the site, working alongside posted Instructors.
This is a flexible, supportive role ideal for those who like variety and helping where needed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting Instructors during activity sessions
- Assisting with equipment handling, set‑up, and resets
- Helping guide participants to and from activities
- Monitoring queues, waiting areas, and group flow
- Flagging any issues or concerns to the activity lead
This role is about being adaptable, helpful, and calm – no specialist skills required.
If you’re not already a member of a recognised WAGGGS (Guides) or WOSM (Scouts) organisation, we’ll arrange membership as part of your volunteering with us (you’ll need to be a member to be on-site during the event).
