WATER ACTIVITIES SUPPORT TEAM (land based)

Responsible to Bus manager
Responsible for Supporting the participants going off site.
Works with Other land based staff
Role purpose
  • To help with the smooth running of getting participants onto buses.
  • Giving tickets out to sub camps the night before.
  • Organising participants into pens at the bus stops ready to be loaded onto buses to go off site.
  • Helping security to check participants in/out of site.
Time Commitment WINGS week – 27th July to 31st July 2020. Only Monday to Friday.

Part time only. Mornings from (approx.) 7:45am until 10:30am and afternoons from 12pm until 2:30pm. Plus one hour in the evenings.

Role requirements By accepting this role:

  • You will be required to become a member of WAGGGS or WOSM if not already.
  • You will be required to hold a current DBS Disclosure through either Girlguiding or The Scout Association.
  • You will be required to hold a county appointment in one of Girlguiding Royal Berkshire or Berkshire Scouts.

The appointee must:

a)  accept the values of Scouting and Guiding

b)  agree not to promote any beliefs, behaviours or practices that are not compatible with the values of Scouting or Guiding

c)   agree to work within the polices and rules of both Associations

d)  have not been convicted of any other offence(s) or subject to disciplinary proceedings relevant to this role
