Subcamp Sunday gets a special visitor

While the subcamps were putting on their best entertainment on an action-packed Sunday, we received a special visit from UK Scouts Chief Volunteer, Carl Hankinson.

Carl embarked on an expedition around the Kingdom of WINGS, meeting and chatting with many people around the site, as he explored the range of activities that were on offer throughout the day.

Joined by Berkshire Scouts County Lead Volunteer, Nigel Bevan, Carl visited the East Anglia subcamp to present Benjamin Kennedy-May – joint head of programme for WINGS – with a special Scouts’ Commendation Award for his tireless work bringing this event together.
